Flame Stop I-DS™ has been used on various materials such as thatching, mulch, bamboo, foam rubber (open and closed cell), nylon netting and many other difficult to treat materials.
This product is a Class A rated fire retardant and can be used for exterior purposes. It can be applied by either dipping or spraying and can be top coated with any latex paint system.
This product dries clear. This product is highly concentrated and has significant wetting properties. Flame Stop I-DS was designed to penetrate and effectively fire retard open and closed cell structures. When the treated material is subjected to an open flame, the retardant will pyrolitically self-extinguish fires with minimal smoke.
Flame Stop I-DS is completely non-toxic and non-hazardous to the environment! Plus, it's so simple to apply to most surfaces!
Flame Stop and the treated substrate are resistant to fungus, mold, bacteria and insects such as Termites.
This product is a flameproofing liquid that is capable of being sprayed onto surfaces. Items can also be dipped if spraying isn't available.
